2015 Draft Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP)

Draft released July 1, 2014

2015 Draft FTIP

On June 5, 2014, SCAG’s Transportation Committee (TC) authorized the release of the Draft 2015 Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) and Draft Amendment No. 2 to the 2012–2035 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP/SCS) for a 30-day public review and comment period to begin on July 1, 2014.

The Draft FTIP is comprised of three volumes: The Draft Executive Summary; the Draft Technical Appendix; and the Draft List of Projects. The Draft List of Projects includes a county-by-county breakdown of state highway, local highway, and transit projects. The Draft 2015 FTIP implements projects for fiscal years 2014/15 – 2019/20. The Draft Technical Appendix includes the federally required conformity analysis and findings for the SCAG region. The Draft Amendment No. 2 to the 2012–2035 RTP/SCS includes changes to projects beyond the scope of the FTIP.
